bricks!

I wanted to post this update photo awhile ago (usually try to upload photos once I take them), but Ryan brought the camera to work prior to me doing the upload. I kept telling him to bring the camera home & he said, "don't worry Charisse, you're blog followers can wait". Haha. I don't even know if anyone "follows" me, but it made me laugh.

our home!

Our house was still had it's tarp on, but can you see it?! We've got bricks! I went with Aiden on this visit and it was rather hard to for to take photos. He does weigh about 30 plus pounds these days, so carrying him while trying to capture some shots was definitely not ideal. I still don't know how I feel about our final brick selection, but Ryan says that I need to stop being so picky about all our decisions or how the plan of the house is, or how I wish some things were different ... this is in fact our FIRST HOME. But I guess that's just in my nature.

You can definitely see the brick better in that shot. Plus, there's a tiny peak at our bay window ... something that made me fall in love with the 4B plan in the first place. I'm working all weekend, so I don't think that I'll be able to make my weekly visit to our site. Hopefully sometime next week I'll be able to take a look!

DC in a flash!

Wowza. 3 posts in a row. That has to be some sort of blogging record for me!
So I had a midterm today, which only lasted about an hour & a half, which meant that I was able to catch a much earlier train & woohoo, Ryan and I would be able to go to the Design Centre one last time before our structural appointment on Tuesday October 20th. I caught the 5:10 pm train which is expected to arrive in Meadowvale no later than 6 pm. The Design Centre closes at 8 pm, so this would give us about an 1 hour & 45 minutes to finalize our options and take photos. I was on the train until 6:50 pm. Apparently, an individual jumped in front of the train before the one of was on (the 4:30 pm train) & all Milton trains leaving Union were being diverted from this 'pedestrian incident'. Wayne was on the 4:30 pm train ... he posts what the conductor was saying on his twitter ... 'there has been a fatality on the train, we are expecting a 2 to 3 hour delay', crazy crazy.
So, we eneded up arriving at the DC at 7:15pm and onlh had 45 minutes to play. Luckily I got to take photos! Enjoy :)

This is the undermount sink that Ryan has to have, it actually comes with the ceasar stone countertops that we wanted, so fine.
